| The B458 offers an exceptional specification for a machine of its class. Suitable for 50 HP + Tractors and above 2000Kg it comes with a 3 point chain stabilizer system. Or optional 'A' frame, left or right hand build. Fitted as standard with the 1.2m (4') Trim-Master cutting head it boasts a fully adjustable front guard, full length rear rubber flap and easily adjustable 115mm (4 1/2") roller. A top drive cast iron 52hp motor is fitted which gives minimum dead length to the end of the head. Transmission of drive to the dual speed rotor is via double polyester braided notched V belts which absorb the harmful shock loadings from the rotor thus protecting and prolonging the life of the motor. Incorporated into the mainframe is the manual slew which gives either 15 degree or 30 degree of rearward slew. The 15 degree setting allows cutting behind the tractor wheel for narrow lane work whilst the 30 degree setting allows transport within the tractors width. As standard the machine is semi independent but can be fitted with the twin pump system as an option. Control of the B458 is either by low friction cables or the optional EPP II proportional control system. |
