| An economy version of the Power Plus Model the B498P features all the strength and reliability of its bigger brother but is fitted with the 1.2m (4') Trim Master flail head complete with 115mm (4 1/2") roller and an 84 litre (52hp) hydraulic circuit, available in left or right hand build. Able to work within the confines of an 8ft. lane, cutting either hedges or grass verges, the B498P has the options of power slew and Electronic Proportional Control in place of the standard cable control system. The Trim Master flail head has a top mounted cast iron motor which drives the rotor shaft through a belt drive system. This removes shock loadings from the motor and allows the rotor speed to be altered from a low speed, high torque setting for grass mowing to a high speed setting for enhanced hedge cutting performance. Breakout is of tried and tested hydraulic design which operates through 105 degrees (including 15 degrees forward slew) and which may be upgraded to full power slew, allowing flexibility and ease of stowing for transport. |
