| The B78-78 offers huge strength and durability combined with the facility to cut both left and right giving maximum output from the machine. It is equipped with a proven piston drive power system developing a mighty 72hp suitable for tractors of 100 hp and over 4600Kg. Standard equipment is the 1.2m Flail Head, which has full-length rear rubber flap, fully adjustable front hood and 150mm (6") roller. The top mounted motor transmits its power via three polyester corded notched V belts. A feature of the V Belt drive is the ability to run at 2400 rpm for grass mowing or 3000 rpm for other work. The benefit of the lower speed is the increased torque, which increases grass mowing out put. A choice of drop forged flails is available to suit any mowing application. For ease of operation the single lever proportional control system is fitted. Hydra cushion arm float is of the dual pressure type ensuring maximum float in any cutting position. To complement the arm float, head float is also fitted. A 180 degree power slew gives breakout on either side of the tractor plus slew for cutting left or right and safe road transportation. |
