EXPLANATION OF TECHNICAL TERMS

SEMI-INDEPENDENT HYDRAULICS

Requires one service to be taken from the tractor to power the hedgecutter arms.
TOTALLY-INDEPENDENT HYDRAULICS
Twin pumps in the hedgecutter to drive all services. Only PTO power required.
DIGITAL CONTROL UNIT (DCU)
Fully proportional digital control unit offering five functions on one joystick. This enables each service to be individually tailored to specific operator requirements for the ultimate in control and operator comfort.
EPP CONTROLS
Fully proportional joystick control of two services with other functions controlled by "bang-bang" switches, improves control and reduces driver fatigue.
FORWARD ARM KIT
Factory fitted extension to the second arm that brings the cutting head forward to assist vision and help to reduce driver fatigue.
POWER SLEW
90 degree rear 15 degree forward slew which allows cutting into awkward corners and facilitates safe road transportation within the tractors width, also providing 90 degree of hydraulic break-back protection with auto-reset to the working position.
HYDRACUSHION ARM FLOAT KIT
For professional verge mowing a nitrogen filled gas bottle which allows the machine to 'float' over undulating round.
HEAD FLOTATION
Standard on all cable control models and optional on EPP proportional controls the head float allows the cutting head to angle over ground contours without adjusting control levers.
DEBRIS BLOWER
A hydraulically driven blower operated from a tractor hydraulic service to blow grass and debris from the road or pavement.
OIL COOLER
To keep oil cool in high ambient temperatures, improving cutting performance and prolonging the life of hydraulic components.
LOAD MONITOR
In-cab CDU which displays flail circuit oil pressure helping the operator to monitor performance.
COWL WEAR BAR
Protects the in-board end of the head and roller bracket when the head is being used for extensive grass cutting on angled embankments.
ROTOR REVERSING VALVE
Remote controlled valve to reverse rotation of the rotor shaft.
