The new Kestrel S has been redesigned, specifically designed to provide a significant reach keeping cost and weight in mind.  Featuring a twin pump drive and a maximum reach of 4.9m (16’).  This three point linkage mounted machine is suitable for tractors of 55hp minimum and is available in left of right hand build. 

The Kestrel range now boast a host of features including front mounting, parallel arm geometry and now a forward reach arm bring the cutting head in line with the operators line of vision for better control and reduced fatigue.

The 1.2 Pro-Trim head allows the Kestrel S to operate in a variety of working environments and landscapes.  The Pro-Trim head can be fitted with a choice of seven flails, including the new True-Cut hedge cutting flail, where a clipped finish is required a cutter bar can be fitted in place of the flail head. 

The machines is also fitted with a 90 degree power slew with auto reset and break back protection.  The versatile Kestrel can be fitted with options such as rotor reversing valve, hydra-cushion kit and debris blower.
The Kestrel family has been well proven out in the field and the addition of a front-mounted option will be welcomed with open arms.  The Kestrel S front-mount has a 5 metre reach, parallel arm geometry and power slew. The Kestrel S front-mount has a 30 degree hydraulic breakaway system that has been designed to operate in the changed direction of travel.
The head is powered from the P.T.O driven independent pump whilst the other services are powered by the tractor’s hydraulic system, switching between cowl and slew operations on the third hydraulic service.
