Strautmann have announced a second consecutive year of strong growth with sales turnover up by 13% in the last Financial Year. This follows a record increase of 17% for the previous year. Increased exports – which now account for 45% of the turnover – accounted for the main growth. I.A.M. played its part  with a correspondingly strong growth in Strautmann sales here in Ireland.

Two year investment programme in Poland now complete
The 2.5 million Euro investment improving facilities in Strautmann’s  nearby Polish factory is now complete – including a new painting plant, production line improvements and the installation of high tech production equipment. The manufacture of components in Poland - for assembly in Germany – is a major factor in enabling the factory to provide excellent value for money machinery.

New self-propelled VertiMix models
The factory has recently announced three new compact single auger self-propelled models with 11, 14 and 15 cu. m capacities. Powered by a 186hp engine, improvements include more automatic sequential controls and the option of 4-wheel steering and 4-wheel drive. We are currently evaluating interest in the Irish market and invite comments from interested farmers.
