New self-propelled Sherpa 120 and 140

At this year’s Eurotier, Strautmann Lunched the new generation of Sherpa self-propelled tub feeders. This new generation features the latest engine technology and a host of new features. Making the range even more efficient.

The Sherpa was first introduced in 2014, now in 2018 the Sherpa has been revised with the basic concept of the machine remaining similar. There are 2 models, each with a vertical Vario² mixing auger in stepped design and a volume of 12 m³ or 14 m³.

With all towed and self-propelled Strautmann Tub Feeders, the container wall consists of high-strength St52 steel with a wall thickness of 8 mm. The machine is powered from a rigid front axle at a maximum speed of 25 km/h.

The standard rear-wheel steering allows maximum manoeuvrability with minimum wear. The revised vehicle frame redesigned and galvanised providing maximum protection against corrosion.

The unit is powered with a104 kW (141 HP), John Deere Engine
